How to Play Dragon Tiger

A round of Dragon Tiger follows a simple flow:

1. Place your bet. Before the cards are dealt, choose whether you think the Dragon side, the Tiger side, or a Tie will be the result, and set your stake.
2. Cards are dealt. One card is dealt to the Dragon position and one to the Tiger position from a standard deck.
3. Compare the cards. The two cards are compared by rank. The side with the higher card wins the round.
4. See the result. If the side you backed wins, your bet is successful; if not, the stake on that bet is lost. If both cards are the same rank, the round is a Tie.
5. Play again. A new round starts within seconds, and each deal is completely independent of the last.

Basic Rules

The rules of Dragon Tiger are very short. A single card is dealt to the Dragon and a single card to the Tiger from a standard 52-card deck. The cards are compared by rank only — suits do not matter for the main result. The card ranking runs from Ace as the lowest up to King as the highest (Ace, 2, 3, and so on, then Jack, Queen, King). Whichever side shows the higher card wins the round. If both sides show the same rank, the result is a Tie. There are no further cards and no decisions once the deal begins, and every round is independent, so a result in one round has no effect on the next.

Betting Options

Before each round you choose one of the available bets:

• Dragon bet. You are backing the Dragon side to show the higher card. The bet succeeds if the Dragon card outranks the Tiger card.
• Tiger bet. You are backing the Tiger side to show the higher card. The bet succeeds if the Tiger card outranks the Dragon card.
• Tie bet. You are predicting that both cards will be the same rank. A Tie happens far less often than a Dragon or Tiger result, which is why it is treated as the rarer outcome.
• Round outcomes. Every round resolves to exactly one of three results — Dragon, Tiger or Tie — the moment the two cards are compared. Some tables also offer simple side bets, such as the colour or suit of a card; the table screen always shows what is available before you join.

Because the deal is random, no bet can be made more or less likely by anything you do — the betting options simply describe the choices, not any guaranteed return.

• Do not chase losses by increasing your stake to win back what you have lost.
